Several tears in dust jacket and three small pieces missing along the edges. Reddish discolouration to rear of jacket. Dampstaining to inside of jacket, front flap and some page edges. Binding is still tight and all pages are present and free of tears and creases. No markings on pages except the first: a dedication from mother to son from 1936.
