Green cloth boards with gilt lettering and to top of page block. Very slight lean to spine, just a few degrees. Some rubbing to edges of boards. Front endpaper has previous author s name in ink and a faded pencil/crayon price in the upper right corner. Binding is surprisingly strong for its age, no tears. Etiquette guide by noted poet and author Howe, the daughter of Julia Ward Howe, prominent abolitionist, activist, and author of The Battle Hymn of the Republic. Florences biography of her mother, co-written with her sisters, won the first Pulitzer Prize for a biography.
